The Stansbury Fitness Trail is located along the Stansbury foreshore and features various items gym equipment situated between the Stansbury Walking Trail and the ocean. Walkers and joggers often stop to use the equipment – complimenting their leg workout with exercises for their arms, abs and back muscles. All while enjoying a magnificent view out over Oyster Bay.
The exercise equipment includes: ‘Sit-up Board’ (stomach & back muscles), ‘Rowing machine’ (arm, shoulder & back muscles), ‘Ezy Rider’ (back, abdominal, shoulder, lateral & quadricep muscles), ‘Chin-up Bars’ (Bicep, triceps and lateral muscles), ‘Leg Lift’ (upper body strength).
Each piece of equipment is accompanied with a sign that describes the exercise and safety instructions.
